Pre & Post-Care is an essential component of any body contouring treatment. By following pre & post-care steps, you can help to ensure that you get the most out of your treatment.
Pre-Care
Here are some things to keep in mind before your customized treatment:
Hydrate yourself: Drink plenty of water before your treatment, this will keep you hydrated and help to flush out any toxins. We recommend drinking at least 2L the day before your treatment. Our techniques and technology are attracted to well-hydrated cells.
Avoid caffeine, carbonated drinks, and alcohol: For at least 24 hours before the procedure, avoid consuming any caffeinated, carbonated, or alcoholic beverages as they can increase your risk of bruising and swelling.
-Avoid heavy meals and salt the day before and do not eat 2 hours before your treatment. This helps prevent and reduce swelling and inflammation.
Wear comfortable clothing: On the day of the procedure, wear loose and comfortable clothing to avoid any discomfort.
Shave: Any body hair on and around the area to be treated.
Remove: Any lotion, cream, and perfume before your treatment.
Mentally Prepare: We recommend that you take some time to mentally prepare for your treatment. This can involve practicing mindfulness or meditation techniques. By taking these steps, you can help to ensure that you are in the best possible mindset to receive the benefits of your treatment.
Pre-Care
What to keep in mind during the recovery process:
Wait: for 1hr after your treatment to eat.
Rest: After the treatment, you will need to take it easy for a few days to allow your body to heal. Avoid any strenuous activities or exercise during this time.
Stay hydrated: Continue to drink plenty of water to help flush out any toxins and keep your body hydrated. We recommend drinking at least 2L of water daily for the next 72 hours.
Massage the treated area: Daily to prevent fat and toxins from becoming stagnant and promote healing.
Avoid caffeine, carbonated drinks, and alcohol: For at least 24 hours after the procedure, avoid consuming any caffeinated, carbonated, or alcoholic beverages as they can increase your risk of bruising and swelling.
Avoid steam: For at least 72 hours after the treatment. This includes hot showers, saunas, and jacuzzis.
Wear compression garments: Such as Fajas, and waist trainers to help reduce swelling and promote healing. Wear them as instructed.
Avoid Direct Sunlight/ other UV radiation: Wear sunscreen and stay out of direct sunlight for at least 24 hours.
Maintain a healthy balanced diet and regular exercise to maintain the results.
Be patient: Remember that the healing process takes time. Give your body the time it needs to heal and recover fully.
